October 1973 Yasuhiko Nunome, the current company president, established Nunome Electric Works as a single-proprietor operation in Daitoro, Nakagawa-ku, Nagoya, Japan, and launched operations as a coil factory.
June 1974 Production of special-purpose compact transformers launched.
October 1975 Production of special-purpose compact transformers for general sale launched, and four coil-winding machines from Bobifil introduced to enter into a program of volume production.
August 1979 Factory expanded and large-size coil-winding equipment installed. Production of large-size transformers launched.
October 1983 Incorporated with capitalization of 10 million yen under the name of "Nunome Electric Co., Ltd."
June 1985 Saori Factory newly constructed in Saori-cho, Ama-gun, Aichi Prefecture, Japan (now the city of Aisai).
August 1994 TüV SüD Japan factory license and EN-standard product certification acquired.
May 1996 Capitalization increased to 22 million yen and Head Office Manufacturing Division entirely relocated to the Saori Factory.
April 1997 Head Office Sales Division newly established.
February 1998 UL/cUL product certification acquired for transformers.
June 1999 UL license acquired for the Control Panel Factory.
April 2002 ISO 14001:1996 environmental management certification acquired through TüV SüD Japan.
April 2002 Sales division newly added as the Tokyo Office.
November 2003 Sales division newly added as the Nagano Office.
November 2003 Double EN and UL/cUL product certification acquired for transformers.
January 2004 EN and UL/cUL product certification acquired for noise-suppression transformers.
February 2005 Sheet Metal Factory newly constructed.
May 2005 ISO 9001:1996 quality management certification acquired through TüV SüD Japan.
December 2005 UL product certification acquired for noise-suppression transformers.
August 2006 Capitalization increased to 60 million yen.
